Reviewed temperatures during idle and under load in benchmark evaluations. Idle: GPU at 40°C, hotspot 53°C; CPU at 35°C. GPU during Heaven benchmark and 900V undervolt at 1950MHz clockspeed reached 69°C; hotspot rose to 85°C. CPU during Cinebench R23 with uncapped power reached 62°C. The Heaven benchmark yielded a score of 6839 with an average FPS of 271.5. The multi-core Cinebench test produced 9293 for the CPU.
It seems you're feeling a bit uncomfortable. This might make locating something more difficult. Have you had similar experiences in other games besides Valorant?
Fortnite runs best on low settings yet shows big FPS variations, dropping to around 30 and jumping to about 220. Warzone isn’t smooth on the main map because FPS fluctuations cause stutters even with balanced graphics settings. Overwatch can hit up to 220 FPS, but it often drops to 120 FPS once the game starts. Your CPU usage reached 165%, which might mean Intel is using its turbo boost for the processor.
First and second images show the PC idle. The third captures me using Cinebench. Fourth and fifth display Fortnite on GPU presets GeForce set. The last image is when I played a few minutes at low settings. Could this indicate a CPU bottleneck? Edited March 7, 2024 by richard29J
Warzone suffers from a memory leak problem that hasn't been fixed, causing it to consume more VRAM than available. This leads to decreasing FPS and stuttering over time. Adjustments can be made by modifying settings in adv_options.ini, such as VideoMemoryScale, RendererWorkerCount, and others.
