Games often stop working on Windows 11 after about 20 to 30 minutes. Newer and simpler titles seem fine to run. I ran temporary checks on the GPU and CPU—temperatures were normal, memory tests passed, and no major issues found. I also reinstalled Windows 11 and used DDU to fix my graphics card, but most errors still point to a bad driver. I’ve already tried DDU twice. My hardware includes: NVIDIA GeForce 3080, 32GB DDR4 2666 RAM, Intel Core i9 11900KF, Z590 chipset motherboard, 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, and a 750W 80+ power supply.

It might be another factor causing the problem, such as a VRM issue or a temporary spike in load from the graphics card. Could be an overclock too—my experience shows background checks or updates can trigger crashes. Try playing a game without an internet connection to see if the issue persists.

Likely GPU spikes occur during intense heating and performance drops.

Which RTX 3080 model are you using? Have you tried their software to adjust temperature or power settings on the GPU, only to notice it still crashes? I've noticed some GPUs come with factory thermal paste that can lead to overheating and crashes, though that seems unlikely but does happen.
