Did you file a return request with Intel for a 13th/14th gen CPU issue? How did the process go? Were there many rejections? I just started a support ticket for my 14900K and am unsure about my next steps—whether to request a refund, upgrade to a lower model, or switch teams.

It seems unlikely Intel will provide more than a standard replacement. If you need a refund, contacting the retailer might be the best option. However, if only part of your CPU is unstable, their testing could miss it. I’d favor a refund since we’re unsure about the issues, their prevalence, and whether they can resolve them.

The manufacturer's guarantee typically covers repairs or replacements. Returns must be processed by the seller for refunds.

I didn't note that I had return protection on my credit card for the purchase.

Are you referring to a refund request? I generally avoid that unless necessary, as many stores disapprove of it.

It doesn't matter what Jeff Bezos thinks about it.

Choose i5 for safety, unless it's not enough, then switch to AMD.
