Hello everyone, Do you have any suggestions about whether the Intel X520 SFP+ can handle full 10Gbps upload and download at the same time? We plan to use one port for a 10Gbps transfer and reroute it through the other port at 10Gbps, but the card only supports 5Gbps. Is this a limitation of the card or is there something we need to adjust? Thank you!

Based on my observations, a single port typically handles only 10Gbit in one direction at a time. If you need both 20Gbit simultaneously, you'd likely need to combine two 10Gbit links. This approach lets you maintain one IP address on each end while linking the two segments together. If there are several clients, this method could be effective.

the intel x520 offers multiple connections, making it more flexible. Monitor your processor load when changing traffic paths.
