I select Intel for my upcoming project, and I understand AMD pairs with high-speed RAM. However, I’m unsure which Intel options match specific RAM types.

Review the QVL for the board you decide to purchase. Intel offers fewer cost advantages at higher frequencies, yet there are still minor advantages to consider. A range of 3000-3600 should suffice well.

They don't agree on that. AMD gains more from high-speed memory, though Intel also sees benefits. Both currently use DDR4. It seems you likely have a large budget, or regional pricing makes AMD unavailable there.

aim for a target of about 3000, if you can hit it a bit faster you can get it for roughly $10 more, otherwise it's better to invest that money elsewhere.

DDR4 refers to the brand, whatever you prefer. Performance, whatever suits you. Intel handles various RAM types better than AMD does.
