I'm looking for a way to fix an issue with my new system. It runs an Intel i5-13600k with an MSI Z690-A motherboard and the Core i9 7900X. When I try to boot Windows, I get a blue screen or freeze unless I turn off Intel Turbo Boost. The MOBO settings are set to auto, so I haven’t adjusted anything yet. I’ve tried changing the core voltage and updating the BIOS, but nothing seems to work. Any advice would be really helpful.

Your performance closely matches maximum system usage and the BSOD frequency. The 850W might not be sufficient for a heavily boosted 13600k with a full turbo setup, especially during demanding games. It's common for such configurations to trigger a black screen and restart, which aligns with the expected behavior when power levels spike.

I don’t understand how your system behaves during a BSOD. It seems the freezing happens at startup, which suggests the GPU isn’t consuming excessive power.

Checked for crashes during startup. Tested with one stick of RAM, different slots, and various configurations. RAM problems often appear when performance increases. We should narrow it down—can Turbo run on just one stick? Or should we skip Turbo and perform memory tests first? I want to eliminate RAM issues before examining the motherboard or CPU.

I have the identical issue 13600K 32GB Tforce c18 3600 RAM MSI z690 Tomahawk DDR4 I noticed another user on this setup with a gigabyte and a different chipset facing the same problem but his CPU appeared to be failing according to the Intel CPU checker. My system passed all tests, bare minimum, BSODs occurred. I swapped out SSDs and RAM without success. After some research, others reported similar issues, suggesting 13600 and DDR4 RAM as common culprits.
