I made a somewhat silly decision, but I'll follow up with Micro Center later. My initial goal was to have everything ready in three months after purchasing the MB back in July. However, after learning about upcoming GPU and CPU drops, I decided to wait. I wasn't told about a necessary CPU BIOS update either. While I could theoretically buy a 12900K, I prefer starting with the top models and ensuring everything works smoothly before moving up. I'll reach out to Micro Center to see if they can assist for a fee. Thanks for the guidance—I gained a lot of knowledge today.

I understand this, and I'm sure the pricing will only apply on hectic days, though it seems to vary by Micro Center you're considering. There are a few options available, but usually as you move into higher power ranges like 50-100W increments, it becomes less practical. Some models offer 950W or 1050W, but these are uncommon compared to the more common 850W and 1000W units. A 900W model might be available, though I haven't seen one in stock before.
