I purchased an Intel Pentium G4400 Skylake Dual-Core at 3.3GHz desktop processor along with a Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 3000MHz RAM. Will it work? Kindly assist.

It will function, though performance will be restricted to 2133 MHz.

The chip will continue performing efficiently well past 2133mhz. I previously boosted RAM speed on my G4400: the main constraint was the motherboard, which can't handle memory frequency increases. The 2133mhz cap comes from that board.

It's interesting I discovered this discussion earlier too. I thought getting a Z chipset wouldn't work with the G4400, but since the person mentioned they could afford it, I guess I was fine.
