Hello, for your first PC build I suggest a solid mid-range processor. With your budget of $1100 you can get a great balance between performance and value. For gaming titles like GTA V, Fortnite, Ark, COD, Minecraft and more, a good choice would be an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5/7 series processor. If you plan to upgrade later, consider a mid-tier CPU with strong multi-core support. This setup should handle both gaming and editing tasks smoothly while keeping costs in check.

Intel could work well for video and photo editing, but for your situation I’d recommend AMD instead, especially the 7500f/7600 series. They’re excellent for gaming, use less power, and offer a clear upgrade route moving forward, which Intel doesn’t match.

When selecting an Intel CPU, be aware that many motherboard makers offer a BIOS option which can deliver more power than what is recommended for the processor. This feature is often turned on by default and may risk damaging the CPU. To protect your system, disable this setting in BIOS so the CPU operates within its safe limits. A helpful video explains this process.
