If you're unsure about compatibility, the answer is yes. I don't have enough knowledge of the cooling system for that machine, but as long as it's not a non-K SKU CPU, it should work.

I was running an overclocked Pentium G3258 with a GT 720 until recently, when I replaced it with an i7-4770K.
You may encounter issues where your Dell's BIOS doesn't allow overclocking for K series processors, so consider sticking to non-K models.
