Intel I5-6500 experiencing voltage issues? That's concerning!
As mentioned, the computer won't start due to an overvoltage issue after shutdown. CPU is showing a reading around 3.6V. I haven't made any changes since then. System runs Windows 10 on an Asus H110M-E with an i5-6500 and 1050Ti processor. Two Corsair RAM sticks at 8MB and 2133Hz. BIOS version is 2002. Temperature readings are normal—motherboard at 28°C, CPU at 32°C. I've adjusted the CPU core/cache voltage manually, disabled turbo, enabled power-saving mode, but results remain unchanged. Need assistance.
Is there a way to disable the monitoring so you can bypass the bios error screen and try another program? Or has one of the sensors failed? Here’s a screenshot from bios to help with your request. I turned off CPU monitoring and went to my dual-boot menu. I’ll wait for confirmation before booting up and launching a diagnostic tool.
Thanks for the help. I'm not sure how to fix that sensor, but upgrading it is definitely necessary.
