I might consider making it a bit cooler, just needing roughly a grain of rice-sized amount of thermal compound. As for how the cooler is mounted, with the fans underneath blowing air up through the sides into the case, yes—those fans could be placed on top of the radiator to push outside air over the radiator into the case.
Tradesman1 suggests adjusting the design, recommending a small amount of thermal compound and questioning the mounting method for the cooler. They also ask if fans could be placed on top of the radiator to direct airflow into the case. The response confirms the current setup is correct.
I could attempt it, thinking it should be a bit cooler—just about a grain of rice worth of thermal paste. How is the cooler positioned at the top with fans underneath blowing air into the case? If that’s the setup, maybe place the fans on top of the radiator and have them blow outside air over the radiator into the case. After reapplying the paste and adjusting the radiator mount, my temps drop from 30c-34c, but I’m struggling to stabilize at 4.7 1.3 voltage. Should I increase the voltage? Would that risk damaging the CPU?
