Intel i5 10600K experiencing heavy load and elevated temperatures.
Hello! I checked your setup and the temperatures look normal for your specs. With the cooler you mentioned, you should stay within safe limits. Consider adding a bit more thermal paste if needed, but don’t overdo it. Keep an eye on the temps during long sessions. Let me know how it goes!
100% usage is typical for every CPU benchmark or stress test. 212 can handle cooling the CPU at standard settings without significant issues. Verify proper installation, remove any film from the colplate, apply enough thermal paste, and tighten securely. What voltage are you measuring during the test? Do you mean "on turbo mode"?
In BIOS I have Turbo Mode active. When I disable it, the CPU operates at 4.1 GHz and then jumps to 4.47 GHz. I fixed the problem using the Asus AI SUITES app with Power Phase on Extreme and Load Line Calibration set to level 7. After that, my Cinebench R20 scores improved, especially on CPU Z, and the max temperature reached 80°C. I discovered the issue: with AI SUITES enabled at those settings, the temperature on Rainbow Six Siege benchmarks is 70°C, not 80. The readings are 1.332V with Power Phase Extreme and Calibration Level 7, and 1.120V or lower with standard settings. Thanks for your quick replies!
