Intel hm65/qm67 processor board. Upgrading laptop to desktop setup as HTPC
Hi everyone, looking for guidance. I'm planning to upgrade my old laptop into a desktop setup (HTPC). While searching for a G2 socket mobile CPU, I came across this board: https://m.alibaba.com/product/6071433667...board.html. It seems the board doesn't have a 24-pin connector. Should I still need it for power? Can this board work as an HTPC even without it? My CPU is an i3-2350m.
It's smarter to grab a used desktop from places like OptiPlex or ThinkCenter.
