Intel HD Graphics
Can I increase the speed of my Intel HD Graphics because it’s not performing well? I’m trying to play games but there’s a lot of lag. I use a laptop with an Intel Core™ i7-4510U processor. If overclocking is possible, could you recommend a suitable program? I’m also unsure if Intel XTU works since the platform claims it doesn’t support overclocking. Please clarify what that means for me.
For optimal gaming performance on a laptop, you should opt for a dedicated GPU. Adjusting the built-in GPU won't significantly improve speed.
You won't be able to make much of a difference in enhancing the gaming performance. The i7-4510U is a low-power dual-core chip with an HD 4400 graphics card. Even if you tried overclocking, it would likely have minimal effect and could cause the laptop to overheat.

the gpu sucks [...] I really want to play games
That's why you have to take that into consideration before buying into a fixed system that cannot be upgraded.
There is nothing you can do that will provide a meaningful improvement to gaming performance, except for buying a new laptop with a real, capable GPU.
