The 5700G lacks the cache of the 5800X, which affects its speed compared to the 5800X. The 5800X is slower than the 12600K depending on the game.

Intel hasn't delivered strong integrated graphics lately. For market position, AMD could regain strength in laptops since Intel isn't the preferred choice anymore.

The 5700G is mainly an upgraded power ceiling compared to the 5800H in my current laptop. It works fine for everyday gaming, but it won’t stand out as a top choice for maximum performance. For a modern gaming desktop setup with these options, Intel would be the better path. If you handle different tasks, things could become more complex.

The 5700G focuses on delivering strong integrated graphics alongside solid CPU performance. The 12600K prioritizes CPU power, boasting integrated graphics as well, and outperforming older i7 and R7 models. Choosing the iGPU with the 5700G would defeat it, while the 12600K excels in most other areas if you don’t need the graphics side. They serve different audiences and aren’t direct rivals.
