Hey everyone, I've shared my thoughts in the Building forum before, but combining several questions made me think posting here would be better. I need to upgrade a PC for a kid who mostly plays Minecraft and Fortnite, with a few new games if possible. His current setup is an old Dell Workstation with an E5 1620v2, 16GB RAM, a 250GB SSD, and a Nvidia Quadro K2200. I was considering just updating the GPU and power supply, but now I'm questioning if his old gaming CPU, the I5-4670k, would actually be better for gaming. From what I've read, the E5 seems stronger, especially with its extra threads. What do you all think?
