Created an account to get help. I recently got a new Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 receiver to swap the factory unit. I chose it based on positive feedback from other Dell laptop users. But I faced strong issues—my friends didn’t have the same problem. The main issue is that the receiver isn’t communicating with the rest of the system. My older brother, who has built several PCs himself, installed it carefully, placing the white and black antenna wires correctly. I’m trying to update the system for driver downloads, but I’m not expecting much improvement. My laptop model is an Inspiron 5555.

This was one of the initial actions I attempted to fix the problem. No improvement occurred.

Remove the existing network drivers and then place the new network card in, installing the drivers afterward. This process was necessary for my XPS 13 when switching from Killer to Intel.

It is now 8:26 PM. I need to collect this tomorrow. It might offer fresh perspectives.

I carried out the steps recommended by VinsinityKT and an Intel representative, but the outcome was unsuccessful. I removed the drivers from the previous hardware and replaced them with the new ones, yet I stayed stuck. Fortunately, I saved a backup of the old software, preventing any damage.
