If AIO outperforms air, I’ll choose the AIO first, then switch if needed. Is the i9 designed to last longer, similar to a two-year upgrade cycle?
I own a GTX 1660 Super, which isn’t the quickest card these days due to the GPU shortage. I noticed on forums that the i9 achieved about 100fps more during streaming compared to the i7, though still outperforming AMD. Fewer 4x cores might make it less future-proof. Should I hold off and wait for the Ryzen 6000 series from AMD, or does it take a while before they release?
You may achieve a smoother frame rate with CPU encoding (x264) on the 12900K, yet the GPU remains an option since the 1660 Super works with Nvenc.
