It won't work... unless you already own two 2070 models, skip the purchase. SLI is no longer widely supported. For that cost, you could get a 2080 Ti which would be significantly improved. Or, if you already have them, selling them might let you buy a 2080 Super, which seems even better. SLI isn't being used much anymore.
I already have one, but my cousin repairs computer components. He refurbished a 2070 Super and handed it to me for free. I thought I’d just install it straight away.
