I’ll remember this when considering the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X now that its price has dropped slightly, near the i7 10700. I’m excited about the upcoming new AMD releases and hope to upgrade the motherboard and Intel while retaining parts of my existing PC setup.

The chances are high that the 3900X will fall near about $350 (or even lower) once AMD launches the Ryzen 4000 (Zen 3). Even at its present price of $390, it remains a solid offer, and the $70 gap between the 3700X’s $12,000 and the 3900X’s $120 versus the 10700 keeps it attractive, especially for those needing 12 cores.
