Check the manufacturer's website for the correct driver, or use Windows Update to handle it. To find the Intel chipset driver version, open Device Manager and look under "Chipsets."

You can download them directly from Intel or use their tool Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) to recommend suitable updates: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...etect.html. Windows Update files aren't always current; they may be weeks or months out as they undergo additional verification steps.

No chipset driver exists for the Intel 500 series board on the MSI site, even though one is offered. Installing it manually or via Windows Update is an option. Overwriting either method could cause issues.
