Intel BlackOpers 6 cores, clocked at 4.60 GHz, socket 2011 processor
I had to sign up just to post this. I saw these on another site and wondered if anyone knew about them… they mention a TDP of 250 watts! I own a Gigabyte GA-7PESH2 dual socket from 2011, but I’m unsure if the VRMs would handle those CPUs, let alone the cooling required. I think a video would help, and I want to be clear—I’m not the seller. Intel Blackops 6Core 4.60GHz 250W 2011 Socket Engineering Sample CPU A-19
Good luck locating a suitable motherboard. The maximum TDP I’ve heard of for the 2011 socket is 2687W at 160W, and most boards won’t handle that. Once you exceed that, finding one that supports it becomes tough. My thought is it might be a fake heat spreader since there’s no FPO present—consider purchasing one and let us know!
Based on the limited information available, it appears they are offering genuine products. The seller typically lists decommissioned servers and industrial gear, which aligns with the components mentioned. The VRMs on the board seem insufficient for such a load, but an x79-based board with overclocking potential could handle it. A previous auction showed similar items with BIOS screens, suggesting authenticity.
I'm really interested in purchasing this item just because of its name.
