I've been facing this problem lately and others seem to be having the same without any luck. Across two different motherboards and a new power supply, the Intel Arc B580 isn't being recognized. My MSI Pro B650 m-p is already known for its issues. I tried a Gigabyte X870 but it also doesn’t show up. My graphics are working fine on my old PC without any changes. The rest of the system runs as expected, though it’s similar to an older AMD processor. The AMD Ryzen 9 7900X with 32GB T-force RAM and a 2TB M.2 SSD with W10 works without problems, even though the BIOS doesn’t recognize it. I’ve updated the BIOS, enabled the resizing bar, and it’s running in UEFI. Anyone have any ideas about this card? Am I doomed to buy an Intel chip yet? Should I keep buying the wrong motherboard?

I'll check again shortly. So far, it seems to function properly in basic PCIe setups but skips when the slot is higher than three. Could be related to the CPU itself.

It might be a BIOS problem—verify your motherboard’s BIOS is current. The Intel Arc’s microcode can also be refreshed (possibly enabling Gen 3+) through software from Intel’s site. You can configure the slot for Gen 2 and then update the GPU microcode, which may extend support to Gen 3+. Good luck!

I didn’t intend to label it as a solution, but I’ll definitely give it a shot. Your feedback will help keep this current if it succeeds.

Can we remove a solution mark? I haven't tried it yet, but it would make sense. Either way, good luck!
