I’d be happy to try that, though I believe she favors a more compact design.
Thanks once more for your feedback.
It might be practical to refresh this section and hold off on the AM4 socket for a few years.

Looking for guidance on a micro ATX board suitable for the 12600kf, considering punkcat's advice. Think about adding a GTP1030 or GTP1050 in that line. Also, any good low-profile coolers would work well—your current Assassin cooler is solid.

I've observed memory scaling benchmarks from Hardware Unboxed before; they typically indicated only around a 3% variation on average, using a 6900xt. For a 4090, the improvement was closer to 20% for a 12th generation processor. With a 6800xt, the difference between DDR4 and DDR5 would be negligible, except possibly in memory-intensive applications.

I believe I might buy a 14700 and some new RAM, then reuse my old parts on a system for my wife. What are people thinking about this option at its price?

I understand you're expressing concern about the credibility of certain reputation budget brands. It seems there might be some confusion regarding "Huananzhi." The details provided don't align with the information I can access, and I'm here to help clarify or discuss further if needed.

I haven’t tried any of those aliexpress boards before, but they look appealing because they offer a good price.

This might not be functioning in dual channel mode.

I’ll check a bit. The cost looks good, but you shouldn’t always be sure about what you’re getting.

For a secondary or tertiary setup...perhaps.
For my primary system? Definitely no.

Good call. I think I’ll resist the temptation on that board.
