Intel 9100f compared to Ryzen in a niche sector
Hello everyone, it’s going to be a bit challenging. I currently reside in a country where online buying and selling aren’t possible, and all prices will be in Algerian dinars. My budget is 30,000 dinars. I already own an 8GB 2133MHz DDR4 RAM and an MSI GTX 1050 graphics card, but my actual CPU is a G4400. I was expecting a new one, but the prices for the sixth generation haven’t dropped much. Here are my choices:
Intel options:
- Intel 9100F for 14,900 dinars (motherboard)
- MSI M310M Pro-VDH Plus for 14,300 dinars
- Gigabyte H310M H2.0 for 13,900 dinars
Both boards will require a BIOS update, but it should be fine either way. The remaining funds could cover a new 400W PSU unit.
Ryzen options:
- Ryzen 5 1500X for 16,900 dinars
- Ryzen 3 3200G for 17,500 dinars
- Ryzen 3 3100 for 21,900 dinars
- Ryzen 1200 for 12,000 dinars
For motherboards, they’ll also need a BIOS update (depending on CPU), but compatibility should be okay.
Gigabyte models:
- GA-A320M-S2H for 13,100 dinars
- MSI A320M-A Pro for 13,500 dinars
- Gigabyte B450M S2H for 14,500 dinars
If you can help, that would be a big relief. I know it’s tough since the prices aren’t what most people expect.
Only a single Samsung stick is available, poorly rated on Userbenchmark.
Don't rely on userbenchmark. It's unreliable. If you own a GPU, consider getting a gigabyte DS2H and an R3 3100. What price would you pay for an R5 3600?
