Insufficient fan headers available!
Oh I dont recommend that. If you havw 2 different fans working on an aio in push pull the performance will go down as one will give problems for the other. You can solve this by going from pwm to dc power control. Then all fans will spin at a speed determined by voltage. Since all fans are 12v fans it means they will all be properly regulated and you will not experience problems. Any reason to change the board? Seems like a waste of money by a long shot and could be much better spent on a hardware upgrade as whilst the board is low end its fine really. The ml series has been just about the lowest end of aio's for like a decade. They suck pretty bad compared to budget air coolers. Their included fans are garbage too. Also if full load temps are under 95c dont worry about it at all. If you want to improve cooling take off the ml fans, have the arctic as INTAKE (push or pull dont matter) and call it good. The ml fans will be in the way of the arctic fans and prevent better cooling.
You're aiming for better performance on AM5, and I'm here to help you figure out the optimal setup! Let me know if you want tips on RAM, CPU, cooling, or anything else. Thanks for reaching out!
I’d remove the stock fans and install the Arctic fans directly on the radiator to test if that alone is sufficient. As @jaslion suggested, it probably will be enough. I’m cooling a 5900x with a 240mm Corsair and even a stock fan—my previous case isn’t great, and I can’t handle a 280mm exhaust.
