Installing Windows 10 from BIOS! (My idea for motherboards)
Motherboard makers should add some internal memory of at least 8GB. If this fails, you lose that capability. Another concern is its potential for installing harmful operating systems or software, such as Man in the Middle attacks. While I note it would be helpful if you don’t have a bootstick with the latest Windows image readily available, you won’t need another PC to create one either.
Installing the operating system is the responsibility of the SI/OEM team, not the motherboard maker. Also, keep in mind that the do-it-yourself market is quite limited. Ultimately, we don’t need to be involved. Even if someone tried, it would almost certainly not be a good idea. It would raise costs because of licensing and agreements with Microsoft, and it would come with unnecessary software.
