Connect it directly and use admin permissions to access. If it was your original boot drive, verify the new SSD is listed as the top boot option in the BIOS.

Needed to do this a few weeks back, tried using clonezilla... It's a Linux distribution.

@Ahoy Hoy check if you're just installing the 4TB SSD with your current setup or if you're planning to move everything from the old drive to the new one. The heading says "adding" while the body mentions "transferring."
