I haven't used Rainmeter much before, but I faced some issues with skins. Also, the second link isn't working. Let's focus on the topic! @melias24
Install by double-clicking the .rmskin file. If a .rar or .zip package is included, move the contents to the Rainmeter skin directory within My Documents.
There is a subreddit dedicated to rainmeter with tutorial in there http://www.reddit.com/r/Rainmeter/ I would recommend checking it out. I have rainmeter and it is awesome but I installed it a while ago and I forgot how to install skins but everything that you need or tutorial is in the subreddit.
