Just a reminder, this post is quite old. The Optifine version 1.14.2 still lacks a stable release, only having a pre-release stage that isn't complete yet. It's best to wait for an official stable version, which should follow the Minecraft Forge update for 1.14+. Right now, the team behind Forge is putting in significant effort to prepare a release for 1.14, aiming to simplify and speed up future development.
