I noticed some videos showing performance on a G3258 at 4.5GHz with a 750Ti. You're looking to match that setup on your rig using a G3258 at 4.5GHz and a 7950 3GB. Any advice or tips would be helpful. You mentioned you'll be purchasing the DVD set, as it's the best way to save on data and get the game.

Uncertain about the issue, I can play GTA at a smooth frame rate on ultra, except for shadows. The main difference is using an i3-4150 processor.

I noticed a few videos showing poor frame rates, similar to what you experienced. They attributed it to optimizations made to boost overall performance, especially on four cores in GTA V or CRI on the M8.
