So my previous GPU failed but I still need to use the computer, and since I don’t have a built-in motherboard graphics card, I considered installing an outdated GPU I found nearby just to stay online. The problem is that the old GPU I’m thinking of overclocking might affect the system if I put it in there. Will it cause any issues?

the overclocking was intended for your previous burned-out GPU, unrelated to the newer video card you're attempting to use. However, driver problems may arise now.
