I've encountered similar issues with older operating systems and PCMCIA cards. It seems the problem might be related to driver support or compatibility settings in Windows 10. You may need to check if any updates are available for your specific version, or consider using a different adapter if possible.

I've noticed MS still supports it, though many users face similar problems. Check the link you shared – it might resolve the issue. It seems like PnP is intended, but the service could fail to launch.

Hmm...it seemed fine before, but now it's not functioning properly. I double-checked, and it's definitely an issue. Ugh, really annoying!

The unusual aspect is that when you search for the link (PCMCA Windows 10) online and then open it, it functions properly.

This document is for Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2 or later. They offer alternative configurations, so let me know your specific OS and version. I've attached the file for your reference.
