hello, welcome! your setup looks solid. regarding the wifi adapter, your radeon rx 5500x uses 8GB of memory and has 16 lanes total. the pcie4.0 you're using supports up to 24 lanes, so adding a wifi adapter shouldn't impact performance unless it causes overheating or instability. i recommend sticking with a wired connection for better stability. if you still want wireless, a usb adapter is fine but may have lower speeds. feel free to ask if you need more details!

It could influence the GPU significantly in some scenarios. Yes, it might matter.

I know my GPU can handle 8x lanes, but it won’t be obvious during normal use.

Most of the x4 lanes come from the motherboard, your GPU should work fine

On this board it supports GPU with 16x PCIe 4.0, using two 16x PCIe 3.0 slots for the RTX Titan. The Titan's bandwidth is double that, while the X570 can adapt by changing to an 8x slot when a second card is added—still avoiding bottlenecks. Cards like the GTX 3080 or big Navi won't fit, but newer models should work fine.
