After installation, the program needs the installers to function correctly. Deleting the large Matlab file isn’t necessary unless you have extra storage concerns.

Interesting. I was using Winderstat to attempt clearing out some space, and I noticed a few results. Now it's time to free up more space.

Installer can also be viewed as a .zip file. It holds every file the program requires plus setup directions. These programs are usually significantly bigger than the installer itself.
