No apparent need exists for removal unless specific driver requirements arise. You can simply obtain and apply the necessary updates without deleting the standard versions.

The gadget requires a driver to function, and Windows will automatically set the standard one because it’s the easiest to locate.

Windows Plug N Play technology, launched in Windows 98, aims to automatically locate the optimal driver for any connected devices and peripherals. You may disable hardware through the Device Manager by right-clicking the device in the menu.

As discussed earlier, access the BIOS/UEFI (your choice) and turn off the sound chip there. This prevents current from reaching it, ensuring Windows doesn’t recognize it.
