I recently experimented with dual booting. In short, it caused issues and damaged the system, resulting in boot errors. I removed Linux from my HDD, but Windows still won’t start, even after using tools like fixmbr, fixboot, and rebuldbcd from Windows Repair CMD. If I reinstall Windows from a USB drive, can I retain my important files? Most of my critical data is on the HDD, but I don’t want to erase the SSD.

Try a restart and reinstallation, it could resolve the issue

I'm unable to move or restart the PC, and it isn't even booting into an operating system.

Initiate boot from UEFI. Connect an external HDD and a USB drive, install Ubuntu onto the USB, and start the Ubuntu live environment. Install the operating system on the SSD, remove the internal HDD, then restart. Restart Windows.

This turned out to be my sole choice. I followed through, and it functioned well. I transferred the essential documents from my SSD to another USB drive and erased the original device.
