You're seeing nothing in the launcher after installing the folding client on PopOS 19.10. Check your installation steps and ensure everything is set up correctly. If it still doesn't appear, try restarting the launcher or reinstalling the client.

I don't have a visual capture. Could you clarify what you're referring to?

Which launcher are you using? What software have you set up? If you only added the FAHClient, it won’t display anything—F@H operates quietly in the background as a service. You must install FAHControl to set it up and monitor its activity.

Older version still works with Foldinga on Ubuntu. For others, try web control here: https://client.foldingathome.org/

On Linux only a background service is set up that runs quietly without any user app. To view it, open the web interface at http://localhost:7396/ or download the FahControl app from the provided link.

On Pop!_OS 19.10 attempting to install fahcontrol deb file causes Eddy to reference Python2, which doesn't work due to missing python-gnome2 in newer Ubuntu and Debian versions. The guide aims to resolve this problem, though it may introduce complications. Web control remains an alternative, though risky. This situation is expected to persist until a new client is released.
