Installed a 3000MHz RAM 4x4 system
Offering 175 dollars with free shipping seems reasonable for selling your used 4x4 16GB kit. The specs you mentioned—OC to 2400MHz, 16GB DDR4, 288-pin DDR4 SDRAM, CAS latency 15, voltage 1.35V—match what works well on your x99-UD3 board. Since it's a quad channel setup and you need four sticks, the price makes sense for extending its life. This kit is cheaper than buying a new system and should give you more years of use with your current setup.
175 is a low value. You can purchase a 16GB RAM with 3600MHz for under $90 USD.
Sticking close to my official specifications while shopping online, most places charge over $200 for a quad channel setup. My motherboard only handles up to 3000MHz, so I’ll need to purchase two dual channel kits for the X99-UD3 platform. Even at $90 each, that’s still more than what I can afford, so I’ll have to buy two to get the quad channels.
