OP claims the motherboard is MSI 970A-G43, yet CPU-Z shows 760GM-P23. Still, it could be worth adjusting the DRAM clock to 533MHz (1066MT/s) or re-seating the CPU.

I was talking about the standard BIOS update procedure. Several discussions on this forum suggested it was the solution for those older motherboards.
I'm also curious about the model mismatch we discussed before.

An update. The matter resolved without needing the final action described earlier. Could this indicate something about MB reaching the end of life? Are there other possible diagnoses to consider? About a year ago, I experienced the same problem. After cleaning the cabinet, it disappeared. This time, the cleaning didn’t help, so I came here.
