Installation of the driver is prevented by the administrator.

I'm facing issues installing the SD card reader driver for my Panasonic Toughbook. The EXE or BAT installer works when run as administrator, but setting the owner to administrators in the Security pane doesn't help. Defender is already disabled, so that's not the problem. Anyone know what's happening or do you have a functional version of this driver (CF19 MK6)? The SD card reader won't function without it. Thanks!

Do you currently use the Administrator account? I've noticed that just executing programs with admin privileges isn't always sufficient.

Did you confirm the right-click and choose "Run as Administrator"? Check the Properties window for the batch file and verify the bottom doesn’t have the "Blocked" option selected. Not always necessary. Windows won’t automatically execute elevated tasks when logged in as an admin. (Fortunately.) Even though Vista’s UAC setup was bothersome, it protected many users.
