Last week I relied on my internal graphics since I lacked a GPU, and everything functioned properly. My BIOS had XMP and Re-Size BAR activated. Today I connected my new GPU, but the PC would shut down repeatedly and restart in a loop. I cleared the CMOS to reset the BIOS and managed to boot into Windows, installed drivers, tested the card, then tried enabling XMP again. After that, the PC started but no display appeared and the GPU lights flickered on and off. I reset the BIOS once more and attempted to enable only Re-Size BAR, but the same issue persisted, causing shutdowns and loops. Could it be the GPU or my motherboard? I’m hoping nothing is damaged and would appreciate any advice on resolving this. MB: Gigabyte Z790 Gaming X AX (rev. 1.0) with the latest BIOS version (F3g) CPU: Intel Core i7-13700K RAM: Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 5200MT/s CL40 GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX from Sapphire (reference card) PSU: be quiet! Straight Power 11 Platinum 1000W OS: Windows 11 for Education 64Bit I attempted to log the problem using my phone, sorry for my shaky hands... The twist is: XMP only, Re-Size BAR only.
