Installation issues with Windows 11 on Nitro N50-650? Let me know what you're experiencing!
Hi, I'm having an issue with my computer. I've attempted to install Windows 11 but my hard drive and SSD aren't listed as options. I changed the BIOS settings to avoid using IRST, but that option is now grayed out. I located the appropriate driver, yet the .inf files are missing. I've tried older drivers, but they don't work. Now I'm considering more drastic measures. Let me know if you need help with anything else.
On a functional machine, extract these utilities using a program such as 7zip: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...forms.html. Transfer the directory containing the drivers to your Windows 11 setup tool. During the partitioning phase in the installer, select the "Load driver..." option and access the files folder. The driver should activate and provide access to your SSD. This guide covers this process thoroughly (applies beyond Dell). https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us...vme-memory
What operating system were you using? As long as it includes an archive tool that can unpack the installer and move the files onto the flash drive, it should work. You might even be able to run the .EXE file directly from the installer if you access it through the install drive's command line.
You're using Windows 11, recently updated to the latest version. After restarting, the system attempted to reinstall Windows but encountered an error stating "no boot media." It seems the installation process couldn't complete. You mentioned that after three restarts it displayed this message. Since I can't access files or external media, you might want to share the downloaded zip file here for further assistance.
