I placed Pop!_OS 20.10 on a DVD and everything worked smoothly. Installing via USB caused issues.

I'm not using the Blu-ray drive anymore. It's too slow for installing the OS. I'm using external HDDs instead. I installed Pop!_OS 21.04 from a USB flash drive without any issues. Before installing, I run "sudo apt update" and "sudo apt upgrade" in the Terminal.
