Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a Gigabyte Aorus B550 board and a Ryzen 5800X. Recently swapped in a used 5900X and tried to boot into Windows, but it's not working properly. I had Secure Boot enabled before for BF6, but now my NVMe drive isn't listed as a boot device in BIOS—only under the drive listing. It seems like the boot format might be MBR or GPT. When I press F12 to pick a boot device, it just shows "Enter Setup" without any options. In Boot settings there’s no "Boot Option Priorities," and Save & Exit doesn’t have a "Boot Override" feature. Do you need to adjust Secure Boot settings like restoring factory keys or resetting to setup mode? Any guidance would be super helpful!

You've only changed the CPUs. Try reinstalling the 5800X to check for boot issues. Next, turn off Secure Boot, install the 5900X, then reactivate Secure Boot.

Could you check if any BIOS settings might help? There are options in the BIOS that could ease the process before replacing the CPU.

The information suggests replacing the CPU won’t affect Secure Boot. It’s worth testing disabling Secure Boot in the BIOS or adjusting Optimized Defaults.

Some improvements are visible. The prompt now reads: "Reboot and choose the correct Boot device or Insert Boot Media in the selected device and press a key." I turned off Secure Boot and activated CSM Support (I see the choices for "UEFI Only" and "Legacy Only," both display the same screen as before).

The boot device remained unchanged, which means it shouldn't have issues recognizing it. I've swapped CPUs such as 5600 to 5600x3d and 7700 to 7800x3d without any problems, so this is unfamiliar territory for me.

Could the issue stem from Secure Boot settings on Windows? It might relate to MBR/GPT configurations, especially if you activated a new TPM module by pressing Y. Under Secure Boot, restoring factory keys or resetting to setup mode could be safe options. Your important data should remain intact as long as you follow proper procedures.

I've also faced problems with my older CPU, and I'm encountering the same issues... I could use some assistance right away.

You're seeing a blue/purple screen after installing Windows 11 via USB—this is often due to driver issues or system conflicts. Try updating your drivers, especially for your graphics card and chipset, and ensure your USB ports are functioning properly. If the problem persists, restart your computer and check for any pending updates from Microsoft.

I've cleared the blue/purple screen and moved into troubleshooting mode. The Windows auto repair feature isn't working, but I can open the CMD prompt. My next step is to back up the essential files I need. After that, I'm unsure how to fix the Windows installation or boot process—could you assist me with this?
