Hello, I am trying to install w10 on 2 new set of hardware. Set 1 is a ASrock X370M-pro4 motherboard, with a Ryzen 3 2200G APU. Set 2 is a Gigabyte B450M-DS3H also with a Ryzen 3 2200G APU. Using the windows media creator tool, i have a USB stick witch i am trying to use to install windows on those rigs. I tested the stick , of courxe. On BOTH set, after booting from the UBD-ESD stick, almost immadiately after the w10 logo, i have the following error : Your PC needs to be repair.... The operating system could be load beacsuse of critical system drivers ... Error code 0xc0000221 The install process did not even start. No way to have the repair option, no way to insert drivers at first installation After digging a little, i finally found this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...n-amd-raid https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-260 The fact is this is not helping ! - The so called X399 updated drivers is an EXE file, witch is used for updates, when i am FRESH INSTALLING - how to even inject those drivers when the USB-ESD is not even reaching the install point ?? What am i missing here ? Anyone with a clue.

Have you explored another USB/ISO format? Did you use only USB 2.0?

Have you attempted recreating the installation media? I've encountered problems in the past where the software didn't perform correctly.

Hi, I've tested various solutions including a new stick, uploading the ISO, burning to a DVD, and installing from the DVD. I also tried all the BIOS tricks like USB latency support, enabling CSM, and skipping the hardware TPM. The issue seems clearly outlined in the article you referenced.

Do you have the W10 1903 or 1809? The 1903 model faces issues when used as a bootable drive.

You intend to utilize the drivers from the AMD support page to generate a Windows 10 installation media with a slipstream approach.

Hello, I'm working with mediacreationtool1903. On an Intel platform, I've completely resolved the USB ESD support. But it's not working on both AMD systems!

During startup from a USB, you typically see two choices: 'USB drive name' and 'UEFI: USB drive name'. I’ve experienced driver problems with the UEFI method before, so I recommend (unless you’re certain) opting for the standard boot method instead.

Suggested version: 1803/1806 is ideal for me. It performs perfectly when these systems aren't just for basic web browsing. Avoid the older 1903 Windows if you need more reliable performance.
