Hello everyone, I'm attempting to set up Windows 8.1 in UEFI mode after burning a DVD. When I try to boot the DVD in UEFI, it loads briefly before returning to UEFI, and the same happens when using a USB key in UEFI. The ISO works fine, but I can install Windows in legacy mode. I'm successfully booting the install media with the "[uEFI]" prefix, though I've reused it several times. The install media itself is functional. Do you have any insight into what might be causing this issue?

Begin the process right away without using UEFI settings. This approach is useful when setting up unique operating systems such as SteamOS.

I've previously attempted without CSM enabled, yet my GPU lacks UEFI certification; however, the last time I recall successfully installing Windows 8.1 in UEFI mode using the same GPU.

The bootable flash was placed in a USB 2.0 or 3.0 connection. I experienced similar issues due to compatibility problems with 3.0 ports—remember trying the 2.0 port. 2) The BIOS upgrade does include Windows 8; check the details about its new features. My Dell laptop failed to install Windows 8 after BIOS version 11, but it worked once I upgraded to version 12.

I successfully set up everything, I just generated a USB drive using RUFUS with a GPT partitioning method and it functioned properly. Thanks for all the help!
