Hey there, I've been dealing with a serious issue while setting up Windows 7 for the last day and a half. This problem has really escalated to a point I didn't expect... I'm performing a clean install on my new SSD (Samsung 850 Pro) connected via USB. So far, I've tried everything but keep encountering this error: "- Setup couldn't create a new system partition or find an existing one. Check the setup logs for details." I've checked these steps: - [link] - CMD in Windows install (Ctrl + F10) only shows SSD and USB - Swapped SATA cables (tried another cable) - Verified if my BIOS is legacy - Reset BIOS (removed battery) - Moved USB to a different location (see this link) - Pressed exit (red cross in top right), started installation from scratch (no reboot) - After choosing Windows 7 edition, I hit another error – can't proceed without plugging the USB back in. The issue keeps coming up." I've also tried these actions: 1. Remove the flash drive and press exit 2. Click OK in the error window to go back to the main menu 3. Insert the USB again and try installing It's really frustrating, and I'm hoping someone can help me out. Thanks a lot!
