Here’s a revised version of your instructions:

1. Confirm there are no pending Windows updates.
2a. Disable and remove graphics drivers using Safe Mode. You can find the driver at Display Driver Uninstalled (DDU).
3. Install the correct graphics driver afterward.
2b. Upgrade any other necessary drivers.
4. Clear pre-installed software. The simplest way is to use Ccleaner via Tools > Uninstall.
- Example: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
- I usually keep only Calculator, Photos, Store, and Store Experience Host installed.
5. Adjust Windows configurations.
- Go to Start → Settings (gear icon) → Update & Security → Click on Windows Update.
- Choose “Advanced options” → Uncheck both “Check for updates” and “Allow downloads from other PCs.”
- Under Advanced, set bandwidth limits if needed.
- Return to Settings → Update & Security → Windows Defender Security Center.
- Click the shield icon on the left → Virus & threat protection → Toggle off all but Real-time protection.
- On the App and browser control tab (3 under shield), turn off all three options except Real-time protection.
- Return to Main settings → Privacy → General and Other devices → Disable everything.
